A floating palace parked by the lighthouse
Docked right next to the iconic La Farola lighthouse at the IGY Málaga Marina sits a staggering sight. The I Dynasty is a massive superyacht measuring over one hundred metres in length. It looks less like a boat and more like a floating five star luxury hotel.
It completely dominates the water with its sleek white hull and multi deck profile. Standing next to it on the marina wall makes normal luxury boats look like plastic bath toys. It is a striking reminder of what happens when someone has far too much money to spend.
German engineering and Italian luxury
This giant vessel was built in Germany by Kusch Yachts and delivered to its owner in 2015. The exterior design was crafted by Richard Hein while the lavish interior was created by Studio Massari. It boasts a colossal interior volume of over four thousand gross tons.
Inside there is room for thirty four guests across twelve extravagant staterooms. A massive crew of up to thirty six people works around the clock to keep the boat spotless and the drinks flowing. It even features a glass elevator so guests do not have to endure the exhaustion of walking up stairs.
Convertable pools and private cinemas
The amenities on board the I Dynasty read like a ridiculous wishlist for ultra wealthy billionaires. It includes a full luxury spa a private cinema and advanced dynamic positioning systems. This means it can stay perfectly still in the water without using traditional anchors.
The most clever architectural trick involves the tender garage. The indoor area used to store smaller watercraft actually converts into a covered swimming pool when the boats are launched. It is the ultimate flex for anyone who gets bored of swimming in the open ocean.
A multimillion euro permanent resident
The yacht was originally built for the late Kazakh billionaire Alijan Ibragimov with an estimated value over two hundred million dollars. It was later listed on the luxury yacht market for an asking price of two hundred and forty million euros.
The vessel holds a special place in local port history as well. It was the very first megayacht to perform a full seasonal hibernation stay at the newly upgraded IGY Málaga Marina. Today it remains one of the most glamorous and expensive sights docked along the Andalusian coastline.
