The Luminart Museum (LAM) in Budapest is a unique, temporary exhibition space that showcases the works of nearly 40 artists from around the world.
It is located in the historic Hold Street Market Hall, which has been transformed into a magical realm of light, sound, and storytelling.
The LAM offers you a chance to explore the light as a physical and natural phenomenon and as an indicator of technological evolution
You will encounter various light installations and projections that will challenge your perception, stimulate your imagination, and inspire your curiosity.
You will discover the different aspects of light, from supernovas to black holes, from artificial nature to parallel universes, or from programmed neural networks to radiating glass objects.
The Luminart Museum is not only a visual feast, but also an interactive and immersive experience. You can touch, move, play, and create with the light, and become part of the artworks. This temporary exhibition is open until 28 February 2024
