Look at this fallen angel. He is one of the sculptures by Igor Mitoraj, a Polish artist who created bronze works inspired by ancient mythology.
He called this piece “Angelo Caduto” (Fallen Angel), and it shows a wounded angel with broken wings and missing limbs.
He placed it on the lawn near the tower in 2012, as a symbol of human fragility and suffering.
