If you ever visit Lucca in Italy, you should not miss the Cathedral of San Martino, a beautiful example of Romanesque and Gothic architecture.
The interior of the cathedral is stunning, with its painted wooden ceiling that dates back to the 16th century.
The cathedral also boasts two magnificent organs, one on each side of the nave. The older one was built in 1599, the newer one in 1977. Both instruments are actively used throughout the year.
