Jaanshaaff is a farm that dates back to the 15th century, when it was owned by the noble family of Siewertsz van Reesema. The popular Dutch singer, Jaap Reesema is also a descendant of the same family.

The farm was originally a hunting lodge, and it was surrounded by a large estate of forests and fields. The farm was later sold to different owners, and it underwent several changes and renovations over the centuries. The farm was also affected by wars, fires, and plagues, but it always survived and thrived.

Today, Jaanshaaff is a farm that belongs to the municipality of Walferdange, and it is managed by the association Naturpark Our. The farm is still active, and it produces organic fruits, vegetables, honey, and eggs. The farm also hosts various activities and events.
