The old townhall building in Újpest, Budapest, Hungary is a beautiful construction. It was built in 1899-1900 in an eclectic and secessionist style. The building has two towers, each decorated with a round window and a coat of arms. The left tower has the Újpest coat of arms, while the right tower has the Budapest coat of arms.
On the roof, there is a statue of Roland, the knight who symbolizes the municipal rights of the town. The facade is also adorned with various reliefs and sculptures remembering famous citizens of the district.
The building was renovated in 1999 and is now the seat of the 4th District of Budapest.
